Dr. Rosalind Warner

Rosalind Warner is a political science instructor at Okanagan College, Canada. Her research and teaching focus on Canadian environmental politics, foreign policy, and earth system law, and she is co-author of Canadian Ecopolitics (University of Toronto Press). She has published widely on Canadian environmental policy, global environmental governance, and earth system law, including recent work on planetary health and global health security, and on the historical and cultural origins of non-human rights and nature’s rights in Canadian and international contexts. She serves as associate editor of the Canadian Journal of Development Studies and of the International Journal, and contributes to international scholarly networks such as the Earth System Governance Project and national initiatives through the Canadian Environmental Network (RCEN). Rosalind speaks and writes often about political issues to both academic and general audiences. She is continually energized by sustainability education and the latest news and information about teaching and learning in higher education. All opinions expressed are hers.
